Norma Vázquez was a victim of femicide last Saturday. The body of the police officer was found inside the trunk of a vehicle parked in a motel in Linares. The murderer named Gary Valenzuela was her former partner, and also was already prohibited from approaching her for sexual assault.

Regarding the institutional situation, the police reported that Valenzuela had been discharged on July 30, due to complaints of sexual abuse against him, so that at the time of the crime he was not part of the institution.

Valenzuela has already been arrested and on the same Saturday and the accused will be formalized this Wednesday.
